APPELLANT
APPEAL FROM FAYETTE CIRCUIT COURT
HONORABLE LAURANCE B. VANMETER, JUDGE
ACTION NO. 01-CI-00401
COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
TRANSPORTATION CABINET,
DIVISION OF DRIVER'S LICENSING
APPELLEE
OPINION AND ORDER
DISMISSING APPEAL
** ** ** ** **
BEFORE:
McANULTY, MILLER, AND TACKETT, JUDGES.
MILLER, JUDGE: This appeal is taken from a March 23, 2001 order
of the Fayette Circuit Court wherein the court declined to lessen
the term of suspension of appellant's driver license.
The
license was suspended through September 7, 2001.
As September 7, 2001 had passed, and the term of
suspension of appellant's driver license had ended, an Order was
entered by this Court on November 9, 2001 directing appellant to
show cause why the instant appeal should not be dismissed as
moot.
It appears to the Court that the parties have filed
their respective responses, and the Court having been
sufficiently advised;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDERED that the instant appeal
be, and it is hereby DISMISSED.
