Syllabus

This Court's decision in McCarthy v. United States, ante, p. 394 U. S. 459, holding that a defendant whose guilty plea is accepted in violation of Fed.Rule Crim.Proc. 11 must be afforded an opportunity to plead anew, is to be applied prospectively from the date of that decision.

Certiorari granted; 394 F.2d 149, affirmed.
