STATES FOR THE DISTRICT OF KANSAS
Syllabus
In Kansas, if the description in a deed of land sold for nonpayment of taxes departs from the description contained in the assessment roll and the prior tax proceedings, such prior description, if imperfect and insufficient, avoids the deed, although the description in the latter may be sufficient and complete.
